Instructions for use: All labels should only be applied by an adult, irons get very hot, please keep them away from children.

Please read carefully.

NEW ONCE™ Iron On Name Labels

Following these simple instructions will ensure that the name labels stay permanently attached.

  • Turn iron OFF steam setting to “dry mode”.
  • Set the iron temperature between 160-190 degrees or cotton setting.
  • Holding the iron flat, apply heat for 2 to 6 seconds.
  • Use the part of the iron plate where there are NO steam holes. The flat part of the plate gives a more even distribution of heat resulting in the label completely sealing. (No heat comes out of the holes).
  • As you lift the iron, sweep it across the label to make sure the edges are sealed.

Use a thin pressing cloth for delicate fabrics.

PLEASE NOTE - the ONCE™ Iron On instructions differ from our iron on labels. Please ensure you follow the correct instructions for the type of name label you have purchased.

Iron-on labels:

  • Make sure garment is washed and dried before applying label.
  • Peel the label from the backing sheet.
  • Place the label on the garment in desired position.
  • Set iron to ‘dry’ mode (not steam) and heat iron to 130 – 170 degrees (middle or wool setting).
  • Use the part of the iron plate where there are no holes for the most even heat distribution
  • Place label with the name side up! Holding the iron flat, press name label in place for 10 -15    seconds. DO NOT move the iron around.
  • Allow garment to cool down.
  • Repeat steps 2 and 3 (total of 3 pressings and cooling).
  • Use a thin pressing cloth on delicate fabrics – NOT a tea towel.
  • Do not iron label on to the care label.

Sew-In labels:

Our printed sew-in name tags are similar in material to our iron-on labels, you may at first not believe these are not actually sew-in – but they are!

  • Cut them to the size and shape you want - with no chance of any frayed edges
  • Remove label from backing sheet and place in position (it may feel slightly tacky at first, but this soon goes)
  • Sew-In to garment

.

Stick-on labels:

  • Ensure surface area is dry, clean and free from dust.
  • Remove label from backing sheet and apply to surface.
  • Ensure all edges are firmly smoothed down.

All stick-on labels are dishwasher and microwave safe.

Tagg-on labels:

  • Remove the label from the backing sheet and loosely fold in half.
  • Place the ‘pin’ on a hard surface and push garment on to the pin followed by the label. Ensure the ‘pin’ stays straight when garment and label are fixed.
  • Place ‘cap’ over the ‘pin’ and push to the base of the ’pin’.
  • Simply snap off the spike part of the ‘pin’.
  • Remove any excess plastic to leave a smooth surface e.g. with your thumb nail.
